Evolution vs. Intelligent Design

Helix Nebula, has often been referred to as the Eye of God.

A couple minutes ago I saw an interesting news, while checking out National Geographic’s daily news, that I want to highlight. Its title “Evolution vs. Intelligent Design: 6 Bones of Contention” got my attention as an attentive reader of Evolutionism related articles. Basically the reading gives us six arguments that are used by propellants of Intelligent Design, some of evolution’s most vocal critics, and at the same time all counter argued by a paleontologist at California's Occidental College and author of “Evolution: What the Fossils Say and Why It Matters”.

First Collisions in LHC

Checking out today’s news I got pleasantly surprised as seeing myself an article highlighting the first collisions in LHC (The Large Hadron Collider). I thought about sharing it with you because it really is a tremendous occurrence to science and a big step to humanity, heading to the primordial moments of universe, putting the current theory of particles and forces, Standard Model, in check. I must say that after the article’s reading I accessed the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) website as the LHC website, a Wikipedia text about Hadrons and another Wikipedia text about The Standard Model of particles physics to get more information. Here are all the links:

A couple minutes ago I was checking out the Sci/Tech news in iGoogle.com when the following title stood out “Christians hand out Darwin book’”. I confess I had to reread it and rethink. It’s not my intend to overlap personal thoughts about the subject neither to speak, at this time, about the relation between science and religion. I leave below a link heading to the article and some Darwin’s related links.
